Discover Mindfulness for Anxiety & Stress (DMAS) is a two-hour experiential workshop, introducing you to Mindfulness practice and its benefits for our mental health and wellbeing.

The workshop is accessible to anyone interested in mindfulness-based approaches to overcoming anxiety and managing stress.

The Benefits of Mindfulness

Research has shown that regular Mindfulness practice can:

  • Reduce levels of stress
  • Increase resilience and emotional intelligence
  • Improve mood, focus & boost our immune system
  • Help develop a greater sense of empathy & compassion to ourselves and others

The Workshop Will Include

  • A short introduction to Mindfulness, its history and application in western psychology
  • Psychoeducation around anxiety & stress
  • Two guided meditations (no prior experience of meditation is required)
  • Tools and strategies to help manage anxiety & stress

  • Lifetime access to our workshop resources page, including 2 bespoke guided meditations
  • Simple techniques that can be implemented at any point in the day when anxiety & stress strike

Alex is a Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapist and Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist.

He helps clients manage and overcome a wide range of emotional and mental health issues, such as habits, addictions, phobias, anxiety, smoking cessation and more.

With his knowledge and expertise, Alex will be guiding you on your journey into Mindfulness.
