About Heal

Heal is changing the way digital therapy is delivered and experienced.

Our mission is to help people break through their everyday mental health challenges anywhere, at any time without the need for face-to-face therapy.

By combining elements from Mindfulness, Hypnotherapy, & C.B.T, we create comprehensive, self-directed treatment plans, tailored to help you manage anxiety and overcome phobias, habits and addictions.

Who We Are

Heal was created by two brothers, Alex – a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist and Mindfulness-based Therapist, and George – a digital designer and developer.

Heal began with the simple idea that therapy for anxiety management, phobias, habits and addictions should be accessible and affordable to everyone, everywhere, at any time.

How We Started

During the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, Alex teamed up with fellow therapist and senior nurse practitioner at a London NHS Trust, Slee Parish, to create NHS inMind; a free-to-use web platform providing mental health resources for NHS employees.

NHS staff were provided with easy-to-access, digital resources including stress reduction techniques, guided meditations, hypnotherapy recordings and mindfulness exercises to help frontline workers find a place of calm during the challenges they were facing.

NHS inMind received an unexpected amount of positive feedback from users including senior consultants, doctors and nurses, reporting how much the platform had helped them tackle their exhaustion and anxiety during such overwhelming circumstances.

NHSinMind was so well received that the story was featured by BBC News, ITV News, The Metro, The Canary, and The Glasgow Times, reporting on the positive effects of the effort during the pandemic.
